Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. Although the location was fantastic, right in the heart of everything, the rooms felt cramped like a prison cell, especially needing to use stairs between floors. The shower was a bit risky with a slippery floor, and there wasn't much space to move around. On the bright side, the service was top-notch, always friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. Dining was a mixed bag with great options but on the pricier side for some meals.
The hotel rooms were small but nicely decorated and super clean, providing a quiet stay despite the proximity to Las Ramblas. However, they felt a bit cramped and tried to offer a luxury feel on a budget. Some maintenance issues like chipped paint, basic shower, loose sockets, and a malfunctioning TV remote were noticeable.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was spacious with a lovely view of Placa Catalunya; however, noise issues prevented me from sleeping well. The hotel provided great amenities such as chocolates, wine, and a washer which was very handy after a long cruise. Service was inconsistent during my stay. The location was superb for sightseeing and shopping, but dining options were limited. Overall, a decent stay with some ups and downs.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room I had was tiny and had a view of a wall, which was not the best, but it was perfect for the two of us. I heard that some others in our group had bigger rooms with better views, so if you can, request one of those. On the plus side, my room was gorgeous, and I even received a free upgrade with complimentary water, wine, chocolates, and toiletries enriching my stay.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city and with easy access to all the attractions. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the vibrant Catalunya Plaza, offering a great view and fresh air. Checking the room dimensions is advisable if you plan to spend a lot of time inside.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, despite facing a drainpipe and being small, was adequate. The early morning noise near the courtyard was a downside, but it didn't disturb me much. The service was exceptional, with extremely polite and friendly staff always ready to assist. The central location was excellent, close to key attractions like La Rambla and the Gothic area. However, the room not being ready upon my arrival was a minor inconvenience.
The hotel's location overlooking Plaça Catalunya was a perfect base for exploring the city. The rooms, though possibly small, were conveniently serviced by a lift and stairs. The staff were helpful and the breakfast offered plenty of choices. Being centrally situated came with some noise challenges, but the temporary inconveniences were explained. Dining was satisfactory, and the hotel’s facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with good amenities, but the price may be on the higher side. The service is excellent with friendly and helpful staff, while the location is central and convenient for exploring the city. The dining experience is enjoyable with a variety of options, and the facilities are well-maintained.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable with great pillows, but there was some peeling paintwork on the inside of the bathroom door. It's definitely not ideal for seniors and the lack of views from the room was a downside. The service was wonderful, with very friendly and helpful staff, but the small reception area was always busy. The location is perfect, right on Plaza de Catalunya, making it convenient to explore Barcelona, although the airport bus does not reach its floor. Dining was a bit pricey at £22 euros per person per night, but the staff was excellent and helpful. Overall, it's a decent option with some room for improvement.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with fantastic service from very friendly and quick staff. The location was perfect for exploring Barcelona, shopping, and sightseeing. Dining options were superb, and the facilities were top-notch.
